Alexander Isak does a “fit” to leave… New Trend with Superstars?

“There’s no need to strike at this club at all. I think it will have the opposite effect,” says the coach of the current English champion

In the end, everyone got what they wanted.

First of all, Alexander Isak. He became the most expensive footballer in the history of British football and, probably more importantly for him, the new striker of Liverpool.

But in order to fulfill what he had set out to do, the Swedish goalscorer had to burn bridges, to damage the reputation with Newcastle fans he had gained over the previous three seasons at St. James’ Park.

And although he brought the club a long-awaited trophy a few months before leaving, everything he did for the club from the north of the country

will remain a stain

Because when he realized that they were serious when they said they wanted to keep him, Isak went on strike, telling Newcastle’s leaders that he never wanted to play for the four-time English champion again.

He blackmailed the club, put them in a hopeless situation, and forced them to open the exit door for him, which they did from the Magpies camp in the end.

Not long after that, A public request for a transfer has borne fruit.

After posting on Instagram in the closing hours of the transfer window that he wanted to leave Brentford, but the club was unjustifiably standing in his way, Joan Wissa was permitted to move to Newcastle.

He underwent a medical during the day and eventually signed for the Magpies at the end of the transfer window.

As compensation for Visa’s transfer, the Bees received around €63,500,000, with half of the money to be paid immediately and the other half in 2026.

There is also a 25 percent of any subsequent sales.

Brentford earned as much as 140,000,000 from the sale of two strikers in this transfer window!

Recall that previously, Brian Embeumo went to Manchester United for 75,000,000.

These two transfers are also by far the largest sales in the history of the club from the London suburbs. The previous record holder was Ivan Toni, who was sold to Saudi Al Ahli for 42,000,000 euros a year ago.

As for Newcastle, the Magpies will play in the Champions League again this season and want to have as many options as possible on two difficult fronts, such as the strongest club competition and the Premier League.

Nick Woltemade has already been brought in from Stuttgart for a record 85 million euros as a replacement for Isak, but Eddie Howe wants to have strong competition so that no one in the team relaxes.

In addition to the German and the expected Wissa, young William Osula has also arrived, and Anthony Elanga on the wing.

Rummenigge, a man who has been one of Bayern’s most recognizable faces for decades, is back in the spotlight of the German and European football public after openly criticizing the transfer policies of Liverpool and Newcastle, but also indirectly sending a message about Bayern’s changed position in modern football.

His words resonated especially because, in just a few sentences, they summed up both frustration over lost football gems and a reminder of the traditional Bavarian philosophy of running the club, but also a slight contradiction that showed that Bayern itself is no longer immune to market pressures.

His sentence came as an echo of disappointment after Liverpool brought Bayer Leverkusen’s greatest gem from Leverkusen for 136,000,000 euros (including bonuses), despite months of speculation in the German public that Wirtz would end up at the Allianz Arena.

Wirtz himself has not yet had an impact in terms of goals and assists in the Premier League and Champions League, which has further fueled comments that he may have left for England too soon.
